Shahrukh Khan is sporting two different looks in his forthcoming film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which is releasing on 12th December.
A source reveals, “Aditya Chopra had written the role of Anushka Sharma with Preity Zinta in mind but since Preity is above 35 years old and couldn’t fit the bill. They decided to drop her and take Sonam Kapoor instead. But Shahrukh wasn’t comfortable in romancing his fellow co-star Anil Kapoor’s daughter so they dropped her again and cast Anushka Sharma.”

Kareena Kapoor The New Face of Kurkure
Kareena Kapoor has been appointed by the PepsiCo foods India as the new brand ambassador for its famous Kurkure range of snack foods.
Juhi Chawla had been the face of Kurkure for 5 years but she hasn’t been replaced by Kareena. Kareena will endorse Kurkure’s sub-range Desi Beats.
A source reveals,”Kareena, being the face of the young, Gen-Next India has been roped in to promote ‘Kurkure Desi Beats’. In fact the TVC has Kareena playing a character similar to popular story book character ‘Cinderella’.
She is shown as the maid of the house, while her stepsisters have all the fun. The ‘desi’ twist in the story is when singer Ila Arun comes to the rescue as her godmother.
She offers Kareena a packet of ‘Kurkure Desi Beats’ to spice up her life. The Englishmen and her stepsisters are having a boring dance, when ‘desi’ girl Kareena arrives in Indian attire and adds the much needed spark to the party. The ad film ends with the tagline – ‘No Fun, Without Desipann’.”

Saif And Kareena To Live-In
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are not getting married until a few years. But since they cant stay apart any more they have decided to live in before they settle down. They have bought a new apartment that they have asked Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna to design.
“I have told Saif that I will be giving him points while working with him for Karan’s film and only after the schedule is over will I decide whether he has become my favorite co-star or not. I love the story as its set against a different backdrop. My favorite co-star is Akshay Kumar as there’s a great comfort level while working with him. Lolo and I are also very close to Akshay`s wife Twinkle who is designing Saif`s and my flat in Bandra”, a news daily quoted Kareena as saying.
Kareena was rather sure that if she marries saif at the peak of her career she will ruin her prospects in the industry.
A close source reveals, “Kareena doesn’t want to marry so soon. She is just 27 and still has atleast 6-7 more years to go before she goes her sister Karisma’s way. Karisma got married only after she felt she had achieved something in her career as an actress. Saif is madly in love with Kareena and wanted to marry her as soon as possible. But Kareena is reluctant. So both, with the consent of their families have decided to live-in before they get married.”

Katrina Kaif’s look alike Zarine is working with Salman in his upcoming flick Veer and Katrina insists that the girl is very sweet.
She says, ” She is so sweet and I helped her with her make-up during her screen test. She is a lovely girl and I hope she does very well. although I do not think she looks like me. But if Salman misses me and wants to work with girls who look like me that is so sweet.”

Ashish grieves the loss of his sister and bro-in-law
Disaster struck not only Mumbai, but many Mumbaikars and foreigners who lost their loved ones in the terrifying terrorist act and the worst struck in Bollywood is EMI actor, Ashish Chaudhary who lost his sister and brother in-law in the gruesome incident.
Ashish’s sister Monica and bro-in-law has gone to the tragedy struck Oberoi Trident to have their dinner at Tiffin along with some pals. Throughout the ordeal Ashish was sure that his sister and brother-in-law will come out hale and hearty, however the destiny had something else written for him.
A tearful Ashish says, “Till the last hostage was brought out by the security forces, the whole family was hopeful that they were alive and well. But that didn’t happen.”
Ashish recalls the last contact with his sister, saying, “My father got very worried and immediately called on her mobile. She took the call and told my father in a quivering voice that there were terrorists inside the hotel who were firing at people. After that the call got disconnected. We were totally confused about what to do next and whom to talk to. We rushed to the Oberoi.”
Ashish adds, “It’s shocking, really shocking. I still can’t believe that my dear sister and brother-in-law are now no more. I am completely shattered.”
Ashish Chaudhary’s loss has also hit Bollywood hard, with close friend Celina Jaitely condoling Ashish.

Bipasha goes back to Kashmir
Bipasha Basu who was adamant not to go to Kashmir for the shooting of Lamhaa has changed her mind after hearing the rumors that if she did not go for the shooting she might be replaced by Vidya Balan.
Director Bunty Walia confirms and says, “Yes we are going to Kashmir in January 2009. Bipasha got scared in Kashmir as the crowd gathered there became uncontrollable. They were overwhelmed to see stars like her and Sanjay Dutt shooting in their midst. That’s the reason Bipasha left from Kashmir without even informing us. But now that we have got assurance from Kashmir DGP Kuldeep Khuda about the cast and crew’s safety, Bipasha has relented. We will be shooting in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. Right now, we are shooting for the film in Film City, where we have created a beautiful set of Kashmir, which is worth crores or rupees.”
Bipasha will start shooting for the movie in 2009 where she plays a Kashmiri girl.

Big B blasts the media
Actor, Amitabh Bachchan is not happy by the media for presenting his blog writeup about sleeping with a gun underneath his pillow in a wrong way which does not throw light on the disaster situation rather taunts Big B’s fear.
Bachchan writes on his blog, “It is a pity that the “intellectual media” portrays the incident of the gun under my pillow as one of ridicule and mirth. Of one that reflects a fear on my part and that makes an absurd simile with my characters on screen and that of the real.”
“I keep my security according to my own assessment of my vulnerability. When you will wear my shoes, and I do hope that you do one day, you shall also be subjected to the kind of vulnerability that I and many others like me face each day. Perhaps then you would be better placed to appreciate the hollowness of your accusation.”
