Lindsay Lohan ignores Granpa’s wake, goes shopping

Lindsay Lohan ignored her Grandfather’s wake and instead went out shopping with girlfriend Samantha Ronson.
Lindsay’s grandfather Richard Lohan, 73 died last Thursday due to colon cancer. The Mean Girls star decided to snub the ceremony because of the ongoing cold war with her father.
Dad Lohan last week made comments about Samantha that she was like a drug that is destroying his daughter. A furious LILO hit back at her father for wagging his tongue in public.
Even Samantha hit back at dad Lohan for insulting her, she wrote on her blog, “I feel no need to publicly defend my role in Lindsay’s life - I’m just sorry that she likes me more than him. I’m not the one that is so lost that I need to use my relationship with Lindsay to earn a living.”
But I think Lindsay should have given some respect to her dead Grandfather.

This is in response to her blog about Sarah Palin. Being a celebrity I would have thought she would understand why Sarah Palin made that private family issue public. Since Mrs. Palin in now in the media spot light, the media will do everything they can to tear her public and private life apart. Has she not been in the position she is in today (nominee) we would have never even heard about this. In my opinion she did this her way. If she didn’t then everybody would accuse her of trying to cover it up anyway. Hello, maybe you should try and keep some of your private life private. Given you past (drugs, alcohol, Lohan family business) who the hell are you to judge.

Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air in a long stagnated party.
Compare Biden to Palin and you have nite and day with Biden being the nitetime.
“Let ye without sin cast the first stone”, and sweetheart you have a long way to go before you can even crticise others let alone cast stones or aspersions.
Try to get you life together and slip out of this downward spiral.

There is so much publicity going on regarding this young woman who is a former Merrick, NY resident. What I find unsettling in all this excess energy, gossip, and paid cameramen following her escapades around the country is this: where’s the value in this energy draining news? where’s the positive contributions to society from this young lady and her entire family? It’s not something that I want my 17 yeaer old daughter listening to or watching. There are no messages of substainance or virtue for young ladies. Whenever I hear the Lohan name I cringe at the thought that I am going to be subjected to more of the same soap opera drama based on the infamous, over-the-edge, imnmoral values, lack of control, boundariless, nonsense.
Ali will defend her sister but what kind of role model is Lindsay? I hope Ali doesn’t drop out of high school like her sister Lindsay did. Ali needs to focus on getting through school now that she is a freshman. She doesn’t need to be dragged out late at night and missing out on her education, and being with her peers in a normal routine. Dina, Michael, and Lindsay have dysfunction written across their foreheads. Michael is a nice young man and I don’t know Cory, at all. It would be my wish for the entire family if they just disappeared from view for the next 6 years and allow Ali and Cory to live happy well adjusted normal lives, and be able to go to school, get a quality education, and live in peace. It is evident that alcoholism which is a family disease pre-diposes the family gene pool. What a shame. I hate to see Lindsay portray this negative addictive roll model to her younger brother and sister. Lindsay might hate her father, and show total disrespect to her Grandfather by not honoring him at his funeral, but what she doesn’t realize is that she is the image of his own likeness. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Both Michael Sr. and Lindsay need to be in a daily 12 step program and attending AA meetings every day for the rest of their lives. This blog is very sad. I googled it when I heard Jimmy Kimmel mention that Lindsay LOhan had a blog. Now instead of writing in this, it would be nice if she volunteered in a literacy program to help a child learn how to read, or promoted sobriety for MADD or SADD which is what Merrick Ave. Middle School promoted.
Please stop being in denial. Alocholism is an insidious disease. Face your demons and live your life one day at a time with your priorities in order. I see you cutting your life very short if you don’t.
A teacher in the district who wants to see nothing but the best for you and your family.
