Lindsay’s Mom Uncomfortable about her Nude Show. Lindsay Lohan’s Mom was very uncomfortable about her daughter doing a nude show.
However Lohan was very determined to do it.
Her Mom gave her consent. Surprisingly her pics were shot by the same photographer who shot Marilyn Monroe’s naked pics.
Lindsay recreated Marilyn Monroe’s 1962 “The Last Sitting”, appeared naked on the cover of New York Magazine, covered up only by a see through pink scarf. Famed photographer Bert Stern, who also shot Monroe’s “Last Sitting”, did the shoot.
Her mom though unconvinced finally gave in she says “They were tastefully done and I respect the photographer as an artist, so I look at them artistically. For him to call Lindsay 46 years later and to say can you recreate these photos is an honor. I looked at it as art, and as Lindsay doing a character. So I don’t look at them like it’s Playboy; she was being a character. So if you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother.
Lindsay was very excited when she first got the phone call. Of course we talked about how they would be done. Lindsay said, ‘Mommy, I’m never going to get this opportunity to do it again.
I think there’s a sadness that Lindsay feels for Marilyn. Lindsay really saw it as a gift back to someone.”

how dare you say you will never end up like heath ledger ? your right because if you O.D.ed the whole world would know it wasn’t an accident . he was a good parent , a great actor ; something you’ll NEVER know about.your so wrong , and you should have respect for the dead.do you really think he chose to die?what if you would of died , from all of the cocaine you’ve done .im not judging you but my kids thought you were someone to look up to , but be sure i have corrected that assumption.you have alot of gaul acting like you are better then anyone else , because obviously by your police record your NOT. please remember heath ledger NEVER had anything bad to say about you even though he had major evidence to back up any remark he could of made about you.hope you can sleep good tonight , love ya?

To the original remarks made about Lindsay Lohan posing nude and her mother’s feelings towards it.
Lindsay has spent most of her career and has had most of her success from being in children’s movies. Movies like Herbie Fully Loaded and Parent Trap. I have been a huge fan of Lindsay throughout her career even through her drug rehab because it takes a big person to admit to their problems and get help. However, I believe that nude pictures take everything to the next level, regardless of how “tasteful” they are.
Her mother says that she looks at the picture as a “work of art” and that if people want to see them from the same perspective as her, they should “look at them as if they were a mother.” Well to be honest how many people really think they will look at that magazine and put themselves in the place of her mother. Even if they did imagine it from her perspective, I do not believe many people would be proud of their child being nude. Most people will look at these pictures just as they would look at playboy. It is not appropriate when these pictures are on a cover of a magazine for all of America to see. Children who aspire to be like Lindsay Lohan get the wrong impression of what is appropriate behavior from these pictures.
Children do not need to feel like it is acceptable to pose for nude pictures regardless if it is a reenactment of someone else’s famous photo shoot. These pictures send the message that it is ok to show off their bodies even at a young age. Also for Lindsay to feel like this can further her career is crazy. These pictures are all over the web as soon as you type in her name the first thing that pops up are these pictures. I do not believe that nude photos are what parents want their young children to be viewing on the web when they research their “role model.”
Bottom line, these pictures are not sending the right messages to our youth.
