Sanjay Dutt gets Jail for 6 years
The axe has struck on Sanjay Dutt! The court has announced six years Rigorous Imprisonment to Sanjay Dutt for illegal possession of weapons in the 1993 blasts. The verdict by Judge PD Kode came as a shock to the actor and all his supporters.
Bollywood believes that the court was harsh on the actor. Though the actor was acquitted on terrorism accusations three months back, this verdict was real shock for Sanjay Dutt. The actor can still ask Supreme Court’s intervention in the case. Let us hope Sanju baba seeks the apex court’s help and gets acquitted once and for all.
Shah Rukh Khan to work with Shankar
He brought back the magic of Vikram and Rajni Kanth with Aparichit and Sivaji, and now Shankar’s been roped in by the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. SRK has signed the ace director for his home production company Red Chillies Entertainment. It has been speculated that SRK will be doing the lead role of a scientist in Shankar’s next sci-fi movie. The scientist’s character in the movie creates a robot for his young child to play with. But the robot turns bad and starts killing people and the scientist is making desperate attempts to stop it. SRK had thought Hrithik in the robot’s role. But due to his tight schedule, Hrithik is off the project. So let us see if this speculated film will happen or not!
Hrithik Roshan to write the script for Krrish 2
Hrithik Roshan has earned largest of the applause for papa Roshan’s films and it is no unknown fact that he strives really hard for his dad’s movie. Determined to put in all of his effort Hrithik will be helping his dad while scripting for the sequel for Krrish. Rakesh Roshan was quoted saying, ”Hrithik has always taken a keen interest in scripting and has been an intrinsic part in the making of all my films. He will write the script of Krrish 2 along with me.” Looks like it won’t be far when Hrithik will become a director as skilled or more than dad Roshan.

Chak De India arrives with a bang on August 10th. The movie is a much awaited release for SRK fans. Yash Raj Films has made all possible attempts to promote the film well as its last JBJ flopped badly at the box office.
Chak De is based on the real life story of an Indian hockey legend Negi, who was charged with match fixing allegations in 1982 when India lost to Pakistan in the Asian Games, New Delhi. Negi was later called back to coach the Indian Women Hockey team. The women’s team, under Negi’s guidance, won gold in 2002 Common Wealth Games.
Shahrukh, who plays the coach’s role in the movie, did a lot of research before doing the role. He also spent a lot of time with Negi to understand the character better. What has he delivered in the movie will be before everyone on the 10th of August. Till then go Chak De with the Wallpapers:

ShahRukh receives a new French honor. King Khan is the first Bollywood personality to receive this French honor of having a place at the French Graven Museum in Paris.
SRK’s statue will be installed in the museum that has great Indians like Salman Rushdie and Mahashweta Deci. Recently SRK was given the French honor the Officier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters). Great going SRK, you’ve made India proud.
Sonu Nigam alleges sexual harassment
Films like Page 3 have long shown page 3 people asking sexual favors from ambitious people who come for work. But this is the first time that news like this has come on news. Ace singer Sonu Nigam has accused famous film journalist Subhash K Jha of unreasonable sexual demands and harassment after he rejected the latter’s unreasonable advances. “He used to harass me with his homosexual desires to an extent that my family was affected. We all know that the film industry consists of many gays and homosexuals. Even I have many gay friends but they have never tried to come close to me because they know that I am not interested in it,” news website zeenews.com quoted the Sonu Nigam as saying. He also added, “In 2001, he proposed me and said that he loves me. He even misbehaved with me after getting drunk but later apologized in the morning. I even told him that you are Lataji’s friend and elder to me so please don’t talk such things with me as I’m not gay. But he still continued harassing me with his calls.” Jha has been writing harsh criticism on the singer for quite some time now and Sonu calls it deliberate attempt to defame him. Sure the industry is known to have such hidden secrets but not all time do they become public. At the outer sphere the industry portrays a happy and flourishing world!
