Ajay and Kajol to Act Together
Rumours are rife about Kajol and Ajay Devgan pairing up for a film titled ’50:50′. The husband-wife duo have worked together in the past, in films like ‘ISHQ’, ‘RAJU CHACHA’ and ‘PYAAR TO HONA HI THA’ . The duo have also been seen in a few commercials of late.
’50:50′ will be directed by Anees Bazmi (of ‘No Entry’ fame) and produced by Kumar Mangat (of ‘Omkara’ fame). Incidentally Kajol made a successful comeback with ‘FANAA’ breaking all records in recent years while Ajay is basking in the success of ‘OMKARA’.
Lets see whether their pairing is accepted by the audience …..
Preity Rocks and Rolls with the Bachchans !!!
The song ‘Rock N Roll Soniye…’ from ‘KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA’ has finally been shown on Zee TV. Popular Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has done what Aishwarya Rai did last year for the ‘Kajra re’ song – dance with the Bachchans.
The short 30 seconds clip shows both Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, dancing with Preity Zinta. Preity looks absolutely fabulous and stunning in this video.
The Kajra Re song from ‘Bunty Aur Babli’, which released last year, became a worldwide hit. Karan Johar is expecting that this video will also achieve the same kind of success. It has been rumoured that Karan has roped his favourite actress and lucky charm, Kajol, to feature in this video, while hunk John Abraham is also shown in a scene as a Disc Jockey.
Kajra Re had gained phenomenal success last year . We hope this song is able to recreate the magic of ‘Kajra re…’. Here’s Wishing Karan all the best !!!

OMKARA – A Review!
One of the most anticipated movies of the year has finally hit the theatres now! Yes people … we’re talking of a pack of U.P. outlaws who zoom out of the Bharadwaj stable and absorb us into their own world … OMKARA is here with a bang and has received unbelievably good reviews from almost all the noted critics including ours 
While Omkara (Ajay Devgan-aka-Othello) heads the out rightly rusted bunch of heads, the complete film belongs to Langda Tyagi (Chote nawaab Saifu-aka-Iago) with his tarnished teeth and wicked mind. He has all the wicked plots and witty one liners to his credit as he displays the epitome of jealousy and conspiracy. The below the belt lyrics add the typical rusticity, which were never so appealing nor evident in Indian cinema! Ajay has modestly underplayed his role justifying his character totally. The same can’t be said about Oberoi Jr. who proves to be the limp factor of the film.
The women also have a meaty part in the guy flick (Konkana Sen undoubtedly grabs the best scene). Bipasha has the two raunchy dance numbers and an ultra seductive and sultry image in her kitty, while Kareena looks ever so ravishing in her Orthodox image.
The plot evolves as the conspiracy and insecurity grows … The original story by Shakespeare was one of his best tragedies and the Indianised version does full justice to it … Not to forget the amazing and subtle way it’s portrayed visually . Completely a director’s film……..

Karan Johar is surely not unknown to those familiar with Bollywood. After churning out three back to back blockbusters in the past few years the 34 year old director is back again with his latest production – Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. After rocking the Toronto film fest, the saga of “Love that broke all relationships” is set to hit the cinema halls by 11th August.
Johar Jr. admits that all his past films have been on a risk free plot unlike KANK. The generally cautious man has philandered over $10 million on this new venture, which deals with broken relationships and not a united family or candy floss romance. Hope the Hindi film audiences accept this film, especially when the super hero season is on a full boom! So all eyes set for the d day now….

Mohit Ahlawat becomes a Dad …
For all those girls who were thinking that Mohit is single and ready to mingle, here is news. Mohit Ahlawat is a married man and has been blessed with a baby girl recently. Mohit, who played the title role in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘James’, is in a state of bliss.
‘She’s small, precious and very cute. We have named her Anvie, which means beautiful soul,’ Mohit told IANS.
Mohit’s second film ‘Shiva’, in which he plays a cop, is ready for release. And like Mohit, hadn’t Amitabh Bachchan played a cop in ‘Zanjeer’ to become Bollywood’s most sensational star?
‘I am told these things, and I just smile. I am also told my daughter will bring me great luck in my career. But I really don’t want to put such strains on that little bundle of joy. At the moment Anvie looks so helpless and small. I just feel like protecting her. And yes,if the film clicks I’d be most happy to credit my baby girl for its success’ he said.

Viveik Is Back With A Bang
Viveik Oberoi was almost written off after a spate of flops and forgettable movies like 
Pyare Mohan, but he has hit back with a vengeance and delivered a ming-boggling performance in the cult film “Omkara”. In this film,Viveik is quite impressive as a youth icon who rides a bullet, loves to dress up, is a compulsive flirt and is called ‘Kesu Phirangi’ because he is the only guy who speaks English in the movie. “OMKARA” is a film that defies conventional rules of commercial cinema and has great performances by everybody.
Vivek has played nuances of his character with such subtleness and intellect that Gulzaar Saab, after seeing his performance congratulated him. Infact Vivek has been getting a lot of accolades and calls from the bigwigs of the industy complimenting him for his performance and only wishing that they could see more of his energetic, lovable and dynamic character in the film. His character as a Bahubali (strongman) caught in an egoistical crossfire is so convincing and believable that we can almost feel his helplessness.

Abhishek’s ‘Guru’ based on Dhirubhai Ambani ???
According to recent reports in a trade magazine, Abhishek Bachchan plays a character that is based on Dhirubhai Ambani, in Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming film “GURU”. Reportedly his role stretches from the twenties to the twilight years. It remains to be seen how AB Junior portrays this character and whether he is able to do justice to the role.
As for his magnum opus “KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA”, it already seems to be a winner all the way. His other film “DHOOM 2″ has already generated enough hype before its release, thanks to rumours that Ash will be seen in a bikini and the film’s supposed clash with Farhan Akhtar’s DON.
Bend It Like John
John Abraham has replaced Saif Ali Khan in Viveik Agnihotri’s forthcoming film “GOAL”. The film is based on football and is a mega venture with a large number of international crew.
“John is a champion football player and is extremely passionate about the sport. He has a fantastic understanding of the game. Infact he went to Germany just for a day to watch the World Cup match so that we could recreate that magic in our film.” Vivek is quoted in a media report.
He also said that the film bears no resemblance to the Hollywood flick “GOAL”. The film will be produced by UTV and has hired the services of the world famous Andy Ansah, who has worked with the likes of Pele, Ronaldinho, David Beckham, etc.
The Worldcup fever may be over, but people are still crazy about football. Lets see how the viewers react to our very own Zidane. We hope John scores a Goal in this one, without any headbutt, ofcourse !!!

nil Kapoor is totally impressed by Mallika Sherawat, after working with her in “Darna Zaroori Hai”. It looks like he’s quite smitten by her and he has gone one step ahead and signed a movie with her. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmi and is titled “Welcome”. It also stars Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and Katrina Kaif in leading roles.
